My 3 Goals for Every Race

Have you participated in any races of any kind or registered for any this year? Are you thinking about trying out a race for the first time?
I remember I was so nervous and intimidated by my first race, though one of the veteran racers gave me some great advice:
I ran my first race of the season last Sunday and I met all of these goals! I had a great time running with two of my friends and meeting new ones; I did the best I could, even with a sore knee; and I finished the race!
